The 12BR Pipe Band

Hope you all have studied hard and done well for your mid-year exams.

This year, we are requested to perform for the stage event for the BB Awards Presentation Ceremony (APC). We will be showcasing a few tunes, including a short medley as a highlight. Therefore, there is a need for weekday practices for this and next week. All performers are expected to turn up for the performance.

The practice dates for APC performance will be:

• 20 May 09 (Wednesday) – 3.30pm – 6pm -> for performers, pipers only
• 21 May 09 (Thursday) – 3.30pm – 6p-> for performers, pipers only
• 23 May 09 (Saturday) – 9am – 12pm -> whole band, sec 1s – 4s
• 26 May 09 (Tuesday) – 3.30pm – 6pm -> for performers only , both pipers & drummers
• 27 May 09 (Wednesday) – 3.30pm – 6pm (Tentative, based on readiness-> for performers only , both pipers & drummers
• 29 May 09 (Friday) – 3.30pm – 6pm (Vetting by BBHQ) -> for performers only , both pipers & drummers
• 30 May 09 (Saturday) – Timing to be confirmed (Actual performance) -> for performers only , both pipers & drummers

We will play a total of 4 sets:

• March in – Scotch on the Rocks
• Medley – Epic, Itchy Fingers, Morag, Panda and Paddy Leather Breeches
• Drum Salute
• March out – Laboum

The Boys expected to perform are Kenneth, Kai Kein, Joshua Mak, Jonathan, Shaun, Kovic, Gene, Leon, Bryan, Joseph and Oscar. If anyone of you cannot make it to any practices due to various reasons, please call me to let me know the reason. Please contact me if you have any doubts or queries.
